I know what it feels like to experience deep loneliness. All of my life including today I have felt and still feel misunderstood due to my unique circumstances in life. Because I know how this feels like, I connect with clients who have felt or are still feeling misunderstood and alone. Whether it is the hidden loneliness of a leader or the obvious loneliness of someone who is rejected, I relate to both. The clients that I serve that often feel this way are those with church trauma, ADHD, and third culture kids (those who have been raised in countries outside of their parent's passport countries).
I have experience in counseling in a variety of contexts such as outpatient hospital settings, counseling agencies, and private practice. I use an approach that helps you to become attuned to your feelings and helps you to be self aware. I help you to be kind to yourself to give you the power to accept kindness from others and also be able to give it to them
