Welcome! I specialize in outpatient psychotherapy with adolescents/college students and adults. I am a friendly, collaborative, and knowledgeable clinician. Folks come to my practice with concerns including anxiety, OCD, depression, emotion dysregulation, academic/work performance concerns, peer/romantic relationship problems, and ADHD/learning challenges. Across my work key strategies include helping individuals identify and behaviorally engage with their values, enhance self-efficacy, improve communication skills, and build a greater sense of belongingness.
Work with me is skills-based and action-oriented. I strive to provide culturally-responsive and evidence-based interventions grounded in strategies and techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma systems therapy (TST).
Clients often describe me as "energetic," "easy-going," and "thoughtful." Outside of my private practice, I am an Attending Psychologist at Boston Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School, working primarily in refugee/immigrant mental health.
