General Background: Psychologist Licensed for over 35 years. Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 40 years. I have worked extensively with individuals, families and couples. I accept Medicare Part B as payment in full if other insurances are MediCal, CenCal, or pay partially or not at all. I will work with you as pertains to costs as necessary to meet budget needs. It has been my life's work to help others in need and to that end I experience personal satisfaction in seeing you leave treatment a healthier and happier person.
My areas of treatment focus are diverse, including Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Chronic Pain, Anger, and PTSD. I utilize Desensitization, Cognitive/Behavioral techniques, Meditation Training, and EMDR/Bilateral Brain Stimulation for PTSD. Some psychological and neuropsychological testing is available to assess emotional disorders and brain conditions.
My style tends to be interactive. I will provide you with direct feedback and recommendations. I will strive to help clarify your feelings and concerns to ascertain your treatment needs. It is my goal to help you understand more at the end of each session than when you came in. I am accepting Medicare and other clients in the Lake Tahoe area as well.
