I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and have been practicing for 16 years. Much of that time has been spent working with Active-Duty Military personnel. I believe that the key to finding happiness in life is finding is living consistently with what you value. People who live consistently with their values often experience fewer depressive symptoms, anxiety, and live richer fuller lives. I love working with people who want to make changes in their lives. I look forward to working together to find ways to make those changes to live is ways that you value.
One of the most important things about therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. You need to feel comfortable with your provider in order to feel like you can be open and vulnerable. I believe the most successful therapy is about moving toward the kind of person you want to be.
During our first session we will have the opportunity to get to know each other. We will talk about your history, your story, and your goals and desires for therapy. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions about treatment and my approach to therapy. We will create a treatment plan together that can help you achieve your goals.
