Hi, my name is Jeff Stone, and I am an LCSW. I specialize in working with anxiety and depression challenges including PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Social Anxiety to name just a few. My other specialty is relationship and work/school/life-based challenges. My approach is to get to know you as a person and create a comfortable and respectful environment to help make the counseling process as easy and nurturing as possible. I work with clients of all ages and from all backgrounds.
My educational background includes a deep understanding of how each person's unique identities including race, gender, religion, and sexuality, to name a few, help form each person's individual challenges and worldview. While I work with all types of people, I have a lot of experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I consider myself a very caring and nurturing type of personality. My main focus is always the comfort of my clients and wanting them to feel heard and acknowledged. I like us to work together as a team, and I am a perpetual optimist who believes that all challenges offer us a chance to grow as people and can always be overcome in one way or another.
