There are times when we feel stuck and needing some sort of change. We do not always know what that change is. Fears, anxieties, or other obstacles get in the way. I have nearly 20 years experience in mental health, and have been a therapist since 2012. Originally intending to teach, I spent my first years after university working in group homes for children. After a detour into the IT field, I returned to school to study mental health counseling, with an added concentration in couples and family therapy.
As a therapist, I have worked primarily with adult individuals and couples. I can work with people on a short term and pragmatic basis, or go on a more long-term journey to find opportunities to grow in competence, confidence, and awareness.
