We each have our individual strengths, attributes, experiences, and ways of seeing ourselves and those around us. We also have our own unique hurts, struggles, and uncertainties. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it is my goal to be a supportive, nonjudgmental presence, and to journey with my clients, recognizing their strengths and providing a space to process and move towards the emotional and cognitive place that is healing for them. I operate primarily within a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach and am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
I work with adults who are navigating a range of experiences including anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and responses to loss. I also have experience in working with people who are struggling with relationship concerns, are wanting to move away from behavioral addictions, and are striving to build their own sense of self.
