As a therapist with over 14 years of professional experience, I believe growth happens best combined with compassion, gentle challenge, creativity & humor. Understanding that what happens to us impacts our mind and our body, I individualize treatment which addresses mind, body and experiences. I provide a safe space to create healthy thoughts, attitudes, & behaviors along with the tools to sustain them. I work with adolescents & adults in individual, couples, & family sessions.
We now know that the foundation for healing through counseling rests in a therapeutic relationship of trust and consistency. Human suffering and pain is not abnormal, and when we experience it, we feel overwhelmed, confused and lost. The goal of therapy is to help you "restore hope."
