My ideal client is one that wants help learning to navigate life's struggles through the lens of emotionally focused therapy. Clients will benefit from the creative infusion of Christian counseling, emotionally focused therapy, trauma focused therapy with EMDR & Murray Method, and the use of play or expressive arts. Clients that I work with often range in ages from 13 and above. I currently see couples, men, and women in Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, and Murfreesboro. I can also utilize my 50+years of Christian beliefs and faith based knowledge to help guide you through your current spiritual trials and storm.

I specialize in creativity and bringing that into the counseling room to create a safe environment that gently invites vulnerability and ultimately growth with attachment needs and fears. Creative tools such as sand, toys, paint, art, and other mediums are used to express how a person is truly feeling but is unable to otherwise express in their life.

Bringing the tenacity to find results from my firefighter/paramedic experience with the ability to calmly guide clients through powerful and overwhelming buried emotions is what this skills oriented mental health counselor can offer you as the client.
