The word psychotherapy means “healing of the soul.” If you’re like most, your soul has been wounded. Sometimes it’s nobody’s fault. Sometimes it is. You may have been wounded recently; or, more likely, when you were younger. And so, as a result, you’ve adopted beliefs, created stories, and implemented strategies to protect your soul from further wounding. But if you’re reading this, those beliefs, stories, and strategies are not working anymore. Have you had enough? Is it time to finally get on a healing path? There are a number of ways to heal your wounds. When we speak I’ll share some of them. I look forward to chatting.
I have a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Trauma. I’m a certified Suicide Prevention Counselor and member of the LA Crisis Response Team. As such, I am able to effectively support those in various degrees of crises. Further, I utilize my therapy dog and rescue horse in sessions (when appropriate) as a healing intervention.
I have been free of the symptoms of Bipolar Disorder 1 and addictive behaviors for the last 16 years, so I bring a sense of relatedness, empathy, and hope into my practice. I’ve supported those struggling with the impact of highly traumatic incidents in various ways over the last two decades. Note. There is no fee or time limit on our initial call.
