I'm a secular therapist and mainly work with people of all ages who have anxiety, depression, addiction, and PTSD symptoms—especially when the main issue is connected with other people, systems, religions, or organizations. Feeling like we don't matter, like we're going crazy, or like we are all alone is a difficult feeling to have. It only seems to get worse the longer it goes on. With some new tools and techniques, we can help you recognize that you're not crazy, that people care for you, and that you are stronger than you realize.
I'm a secular therapist (Mormon-informed) and am trained in EMDR, somatic therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative therapy. When addressing anxiety, depression, and trauma, these approaches help people understand and deal with the core of many behavioral and emotional issues throughout life.
It's hard to ask for help, especially when it's about sensitive topics. It doesn't mean you're weak; it means you have the courage to actively try improving your life, even if it's uncomfortable.
