In my care, your safety and holistic well-being are the primary concerns. My approach centers around attuning to your somatic, emotional, mental, and behavioral needs. In an effort to support your personal growth, transformational and individual goals, I utilize both traditional and non-traditional modalities making it possible for you to achieve clarity, recovery and connection with yourself in the present moment. In practice, I resource a developing body of evidence that demonstrates how therapeutic emersion in the natural world promotes improved attention, esteem, calmness, happiness, reduced stress and other essential benefits.
My practice includes elements of recreational and experiential ecotherapy, mindfulness, somatic and trauma responsive care. I believe in the power of connection with the environment and those experiences as a resource that improves our capacities and allows for changes in the perception of ourselves and the meaningfulness of relationships in our lives.
I provide a multitude of opportunities for us to work together including telehealth and in-person office sessions. Individual, couples, family or group meetings with the option to collaborate an agreed upon outdoor location in various parts of the world. Walks, hikes, surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking or biking are all possibilities.
