About
My style is collaborative, professional, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I bring a variety of tools, training, and education along with a lifetime of experience to my work. Every step of the way, your input and feedback are important to me, and it is my goal to work collaboratively with you to determine what your needs and goals are, and what approach fits and works best for you. I offer tools and cognitive skills that are very helpful on their own, as well as a more in-depth approach that can help you to achieve a deeper level of understanding and healing that will free you up from the burdens and challenges you have carried.
I use an integrative approach over teletherapy that includes EMDR, a proven effective treatment for overcoming the impact of past trauma, Internal Family Systems techniques to help compassionately listen to and heal the parts of you that are struggling, psychodynamic, CBT, and DBT approaches to give you more tools for managing what life throws at you.
I became a therapist because I wanted to provide the kind of effective, non-judgmental, and compassionate therapeutic experience that would allow clients to heal, and move forward into living their own best lives. If this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, I'd love to talk with you further about how I can help you do the work.
