Life, especially relational life, can be confusing and overwhelmingly painful.. These difficult conditions often have a purpose, which is healing and positive change. My speciality is relationships, and with an extensive background in crisis intervention, I help couples unpack conflict, reduce anxiety by finding the path forward, learning the tools to achieve desired change, especially connection. As deeply painful and uncertain as difficulties may be, it is also a time of opportunity, growth, healing and wisdom.
As a Certified Advanced Clinician in Imago Relationship Therapy, I help stabilize the immediate situation, then assist in making a longer term plan to develop insight and inner strengths in order to know peace of mind and enjoy healthy, satisfying relationships. I am also a Clinical Instructor with Imago International Training Institute.
With a speciality in relationships, my job is to help couples communicate safely and toward the goal of deeper connection. Without realizing it, we often re-create past pain, with the psychological agenda of healing; yet it's frustrating if nothing changes. I facilitate (and teach therapists to facilitate) conversations helping to create positive change.
