About
Teens and adults navigating identity and relationship stressors, self-esteem, worry and anxiety, stress/pressure related to school or work, sadness, codependency and trauma work with me to gain coping strategies. We'll replace negative thoughts, reframe negative interpretations, learn positive behavioral skills to create and maintain positive mood, healthy relationships. We can also improve ability to identify triggers, understand how the past affects and informs the present, ability to regulate, self-esteem, assertiveness and uncover family patterns/trauma that impact you and implement new behavior patterns.
I use journaling, mindfulness, activity scheduling, reframing and mood tracking for teens and adults. My clients build self-confidence, develop autonomy, communicate effectively, develop emotional resilience, repair irrational thinking, increase interpersonal effectiveness and stop repeating frustrating patterns. I can incorporate your faith.
I approach therapy as a collaborative dynamic aimed at accomplishing cognitive, emotional and behavioral goals through building trust, respecting and honoring individual needs, and supporting appropriate growth and development. I embrace LGBTQ+ and BIPOC identities and address the impact of homophobia, racism, sexism, transphobia, patriarchy & more.
