Sex addiction impacts the addict and their partner. Sex addicts may experience preoccupation with sexual thoughts, hide sexual behaviors or activity from others, have sought help for problematic sexual behaviors, feel controlled by their sexual desire, feel depressed after sexual behavior, or notice others have suffered due to their sexual behavior? Sex addiction is an emotional intimacy issue that involves destructive sexual behavior. This behavior often causes harm and chaos within the addict's primary relationship. This group will be a safe place for sex addicts to discuss these relationships and to support each other while working through the complex process of rebuilding trust and intimacy. This group is for those who are interested in working on the healing component of betrayal trauma caused by sex addiction and have experienced significant periods of sobriety. *** This group is facilitated by a licensed therapist who is a certified sex addiction specialist (CSAT) and a betrayal partner trauma specialist.
