I enjoy working with individuals, and couples. I specialize in trauma, complex trauma, sexual challenges, sexual diversity, relationship challenges, and anxiety. I have a special interest in working with women managing perimenopause or hormone related issues, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Although I primarily work with adults, I have years of experience working with teenagers, and welcome them to therapy, also.

My first goal is to create a safe space that builds a trusting relationship. Once trust has been established, it’s my passion to help clients identify themes and patterns that continue to present challenges to their lives and relationships. To move you toward your goals, we will apply evidence-based interventions, like EMDR, OEI, ACT, and Mindfulness.

I absolutely enjoy my work as a therapist. I have decades of experience listening and asking questions that help others discover deeper parts of their unconscious. I do this with empathy, and sometimes humor. I believe the therapeutic relationship allows a full range of emotions to be processed and released. All parts of you are welcome.

In our first few sessions, I will seek to get to know you and the experiences that have shaped your life. EMDR is my go-to intervention to support clients while processing trauma, stress, anxiety, and self-defeating thoughts, because it's a gentle, client centered approach that promotes nervous system regulation and long-term relief.
