Hi! My name is Jeanne Foster and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Most people call me Jeana (pronounced like Gina). I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship where people can learn to change their thoughts and behaviors and improve themselves and their lives. I also believe that people can and do heal from mental illness and love being a part of this process.
I believe the most important part of effective therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client. I provide a safe, confidential, and judge-free environment where people can be themselves and share as much or as little as they are comfortable sharing. I work with each client to develop a relationship that matches their needs.
I create a safe, open, and inviting therapeutic space where clients can set the pace and create their own path for their therapeutic journey. I believe therapy is hard work at times but also that laughing and seeing the humor in things can also be part of the process.
