I have over 25 years of experience working in the field of mental health. For decades, my work has helped parents to understand the gifts and needs of their neurodivergent children and to support families navigating their own challenges as well. My agency, the Center for Developmental Play and Learning (CDPL), was formed in 2007. Through applying the DIR/Floortime model, I helped autistic children and their families find meaning through play and through co-regulation handle ruptures with insight.
Lantern Therapy, a division of CDPL, has expanded to integrate psychoanalytic and play therapy principles with CDPL's developmental focus. As a member of the Vista Autism Center (VAC) led by Israeli psychoanalyst Joshua Durban, I also have limited space available for a neurodivergent youth and family seeking intensive work.
