I specialize in helping people have more satisfaction in all areas of their lives including relationships and work. I am trained to work with many psychological issues and specialize in: Depression issues such as low self esteem, hopelessness and guilt. Anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety, panic attacks, and post traumatic stress disorder. Relationship issues including co-dependency and ACOA issues. Grief and bereavement issues including divorce, separation and complicated grief. Women's issues such as binge eating, body image and empowerment in relationships.
I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy which I incorporate with a mind/body approach which views the individual from mind, body and spiritual aspects. I work with each client on assessing and developing mutually agreed upon psychotherapy goals which are periodically reviewed and revised based on client needs.
Besides my training in Social Work, I am also trained in Life Coaching, Mindfulness Meditation and Body/Mind therapy which I incorporate into my practice. I have a small therapy dog in my office to help encourage the healing process.
