My work with individuals and couples starts with getting to know each person and developing a unique plan for treatment. It is my goal to provide a safe and comfortable environment where you can explore issues and learn tools for growth. I utilize many forms of therapy based on my 20 plus years in the field of counseling. At all times, respect for the individual and confidentiality remain foremost.
I have been in private practice for over 20 years in Modesto. Prior to that time I also worked as a staff psychotherapist in both inpatient mental health and outpatient HMO settings. I have also taught introductory counseling techniques to students at Modesto Junior college as part of the Behavioral Science program.
My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, substance abuse, couples therapy and issues with life transitions. I also have many years of experience in workplace issues as well as critical incident stress debriefing.
