About
I love working with clients who are challenged by trauma, parenting a special needs child, anxiety, narcissistic abuse (parent/authority figure-not romantic relationships). I believe that with effort and the right tools people can not just survive but thrive! My practice is in both California and Arizona. I am a designated international Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy teacher having done extensive training from Oxford University in the UK in person.
I'm trained in so many different psychotherapies because I've been in practice for over 35 years and I love learning. Recently, I've trained at Oxford University in England and am a teacher in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. I love to match the perfect therapy for you. I'm trained in EMDR, yoga, trauma, social thinking, ACT, self-compassion & hypnosis.
My mission is to create a warm, emotionally safe and compassionate environment for people which is always kind, understanding and nonjudgmental. My overriding goal is to match each person with the specific treatment modality and psycho-education that will best support their well-being and bring each person to recognize their own unique resources.
