I am a trauma specialist dedicated to providing compassionate mental health counseling to help individuals heal from past trauma and live more fulfilling lives. My approach is rooted in empathy and evidence-based treatment. I can help you recover from childhood trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, phobia, grief and loss, and religious trauma, using talk therapy or EMDR therapy. With over 30 years of experience in social services and community services for youths, adults, and geriatric population with fluency in Korean, I provide culturally attuned care to a diverse clientele, ensuring that everyone feels understood and supported.
I use integrative approach which includes family systems, solution focused, emotion focused, DBT, CBT, trauma focused, and multicultural therapy. I also provide life coaching nationwide in the areas of parenting, career, relationship skills, and mental wellness/mindfulness strategies.
I provide telehealth to clients across NJ and in-person sessions in Paramus and Short Hills locations. I work Tuesday through Friday and offer daytime and evening appointments. I can offer sessions in English or Korean. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
