I specialize in addressing unresolved childhood trauma, including shame, anxiety, grief, and loss, uniquely tied to adoption and foster care experiences. As an adoptee and former foster youth, I bring personal insight and professional expertise to every session. My team of skilled adoption and foster care therapists in Los Angeles provides compassionate, trauma-informed care for adoptees, foster youth, birth parents, foster parents, adoptive families. We are experienced in reunification, adoption trauma, open adoption, transitioning from foster care to adoption +reunions

We offer a robust network of peer support groups, events & arts fests in person and online through Celia Center uniting adoptees, foster youth, adoptive parents, foster parents, and birth parents. Our nonprofit creates a safe, empowering space for people of all ages and stages of the adoption and foster care journey to connect, share, and heal together.

My desire to become a child and adult therapist with a particular focus on adoption and foster care derived from my experience of being adopted at age seven and a half and moving through the foster care system. I work closely with families, social workers, and therapists in the Los Angeles County Dept. of Mental Health and Child & Family Services.
