My goals for you in therapy are to follow your needs and help you rediscover your wellbeing on your timeline while offering support and practical insight into your process for your recovery. This does not have to take forever. Sometimes, even a few session can bring the relief you need. Other times, a more in-depth journey is beneficial. You guide the process toward your own wellbeing; I am here to support you throughout this process.
I specialize in trauma work with associated symptoms (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, etc.). Concerns are often rooted in trauma, requiring a two-pronged approach to address both the everyday symptoms and the trauma history. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and other modalities to achieve such a holistic approach.
Using a client-centered approach means that YOU will lead the counseling process. My role is to be a companion joining you on your journey, directed by you, for you. Whatever the concerns, I am here to serve you in any way I can. I may laugh with you or cry with you as we reflect together on your ever-improving wellbeing.
