Hello, and welcome to therapy. My name is Jean-Marie Schweizer, and I am a licensed professional counselor working statewide in Texas via telehealth. I work with adults of all ages and specialize in anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, and many other concerns. I am passionate about supporting my clients through challenges to rediscover their strengths and abilities to experience growth and healing in their lives. I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for young and older adults who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions and social pressures.
This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. I work with my clients to rediscover and develop the skills and strengths to learn to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.
I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment and much curiosity. I use a non-directive style, allowing my clients to take the lead while I work with them on exploring their inner world for greater well-being.
