Individuals looking for counseling are often struggling with issues that have developed over time. Often, these issues can be caused by painful relationships, work environments, family problems, traumatic events, health issues, alcohol or drug addiction as well as being an affected family member or friend, loss of loved ones or simply feeling stuck in an unsatisfactory place in life. I specialize in working with individuals, couples and groups with the focus often being addiction, co-dependency, mood and anxiety issues. I have experience in helping LGBT individuals in the coming out process. Helping individuals to address and improve communication with others and relationship difficulties are also areas of specialty.
I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting and Hypnotherapy. These methods can help individuals work thorough trauma and significant anxiety without having to discuss all the details of the events whereby decreasing the re-traumatization. I believe in results focused therapy. I can help you discover your inner resources to achieve your identified goals.

Groups
Intensive Outpatient Program
Our clinic offers IOP for individuals that need substance abuse treatment who do not meet the level of need for inpatient treatment. It is a 12 week program with the first 4 weeks being the most intense - 3 days a week for 3 hours per night. The last 8 weeks are once a week for 2 hours. We also require individual and conjoint family sessions to offer insight and support to your family members throughout the entire program.
