My background in family systems has influenced my work with clients. Whether the modality be individual, couples or families, I actively seek family history. Who we are in this moment is a combination of our many experiences and familial influences.
I use a variety of techniques to engage my clients. Sessions may include role playing and simple art (drawing, coloring). I also work with mindfulness techniques. Of course, there are times when the most appropriate technique includes the client sitting, sharing and simply being heard- I let the client guide me.
