I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult and intimidating decision. I am here to support you and provide you with the care and guidance you need to overcome the challenges you are facing. I specialize in trauma work, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I also have a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and have extensive experience using my training to support queer and transgender individuals.
I use an eclectic approach, individually tailored to your specific needs. Some common methods include EMDR, DBT, emotionally focused therapy, IFT, and brainspotting. These evidence-based therapies have been shown to be highly effective in helping individuals and couples overcome the challenges they face and live happier, more fulfilling lives.
In addition to my work with individuals, I often work with couples who have found that the lasting effects of past traumas have created barriers to both emotional and physical intimacy. I am trained in the Gottman method and emotionally focused therapy, which allows me to provide couples with effective tools and strategies to improve their relationships.
