I'm a licensed couple's and family therapist focused on relational conflict, couple's distress, life transitions and specialize in treating anxiety disorders. My experience includes work as a Supervisor at a Community Mental Health Agency and Clinical Experience at St Vincent's Hospital IOP. I'm a Certified Divorce and Family Mediator and a Certified Discernment Counselor for those on the brink of Divorce. I understand life can be overwhelming at times and often patient's feel disconnected and lonely.
My work is caring and collaborative and I strive to therapeutically uncover the negative patterns that keep patient's stuck in distress. Call me a dogged optimist, but I believe that positive change CAN happen. For someone stuck in a negative cycle change is necessary and good - not something to be feared but something to embrace.
Together we can face life's problems and determine new pathways to satisfaction, connectedness and peace. I've been married to the same good man for many years and have two young-adult children. I see issues through the eyes of a concerned parent, a loving but sometimes harried wife, and a caring professional who can relate to the problems of my patients.
