I work with tweens, teens, and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, mood issues, school issues, relationship issues, family problems, trauma, transitions and grief. I partner with clients to find solutions that work for them and support clients in making necessary changes to better their lives. Client input is necessary and valued in the treatment planning process. Feedback about the therapeutic process is welcome.
I have experience working with clients on a variety of issues from various life stages. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, borrowing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR. I start where the client is and focus on supporting the changes the client wants to make.
Let's face it, sometimes life throws some tough curve balls. Our ability to cope with difficulties and change is sometimes exhausted.
