I obtained my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Appalachian State University and am a proud Mountaineer. However, the ocean was calling me and I've lived in Wilmington since August 2022. I love working primarily with teens, and young adults (ages 10-35 years of age), and focusing on trauma, ADHD, and eating disorders.
I use Adlerian, person-focused, and feminist approaches to therapy. This means that I recognize that larger systems and societal expectations influence everyone’s day-to-day life; my focus is on each person and their individual concerns, strengths, and attainable goals. I also enjoy helping people learn how to incorporate expressive arts into therapy.
Therapy is a relationship, so here is a bit about me: I am not only a therapist, but also a dog and cat mom, the (coolest) aunt, a Swiftie, a bookworm, an Enneagram 8, and so much more. I can't wait to learn more about you and how I can help you on your journey.
