We all wish to live happy, successful and meaningful lives. Yet, life often challenges us in unexpected ways. In these moments, we may feel overwhelmed, confused, and filled with doubt. Difficulties in health, relationships, employment, or a child's development are some of the circumstances I have been contacted about for assistance. Through active listening and thoughtful inquiry, I will assist you in developing tools and strategies to address your concerns. Over the course of my years as a psychotherapist, I have frequently been moved by the persistence, courage and inner strength my clients have uncovered in the midst of their struggles.
My professional clinical training integrates individual and family therapy, attachment, child development, and Jungian psychology. In addition, I draw upon experiential nature-based wisdom traditions to illuminate our human cycles of growth and change. Mindfulness, awareness, and sound are utilized to cultivate a capacity to effectively attune to ourselves and others.
All too often, we are our own harshest critic. Negative beliefs about ourselves mask our strengths and inner knowing. I bring to my work a healthy respect for how difficult and humbling life can be. My psychotherapeutic approach is strength based, warm, nonjudgmental, and interactive.
