My goal is to help clients grow and develop tools to move through the challenges they encounter. I work to create a safe place for clients to learn alternative ways to manage the stressors and conflicts in life that lead to anxiety, depression, PTSD, helplessness and hopelessness. I have been greatly honored to journey with individuals, couples and families as they navigate the challenges they face, make sense of their lives and feel better. I am continually amazed by the human spirit and each person’s ability to overcome adversity, even horrendous trauma.
I use Motivational Interviewing to focus on each person's strengths as a resource for the changes they want to make. Using Gestalt I facilitate healing experiences that develop a different way for a person to be with themselves and the world. I have worked extensively with children, youth and parents addressing issues of depression, anxiety and trauma.
Please contact me if you are seeking a supportive and compassionate therapeutic relationship. With reflection, insight and compassion, I offer a safe space to help you heal and enhance your relationship with yourself and with others.
