About
I feel that every client, along with their family or loved ones, processes and copes with adversity, trauma, and mental health issues differently. It is important that I build a strong, therapeutic rapport with my clients in order to create a more comfortable environment for openness and honesty. Through building a therapeutic relationship based on mutual empathy and rapport, healing and working through difficult issues can happen. My primary goal is to create a safe, inclusive space for my clients to feel freedom to express themselves without a fear of judgment.
I am a queer-identifying therapist and have experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use, and LGBTQ+ related issues. I feel that it is crucial to tailor treatment in order to fit client's needs, so I utilize multiple modalities depending on clients needs, goals, and presenting problems.
I understand that it can be difficult and intimidating to seek help. My goal is to make my clients feel accepted and understood while providing unconditional support and validation. I hope to guide my clients on a path toward healing and acceptance of their most authentic selves.
