I'm looking for clients that are thinking about making change or are already ready. Navigating the process of change is often difficult. Whether the change you are considering is in the area of substance use, mental health, or relationships with family / significant others, it can be very useful to have an ally to assist in navigating that process. I've been working in the fields of substance use and mental health for 20 years. I've worked extensively with both adolescents and adults. My approach in counseling is eclectic. I incorporate elements of Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My goal is to work with clients to create an environment that is conducive to change, and assist in navigating the change process. I attempt to do this by incorporating humor, compassion, and very direct communication.
I am accepting new clients and offer only Saturday hours.
