I understand what it's like to be bound by a substance or behavior such as porn or social media and trying to make better choices with it. You may be using cannabis, alcohol or "scrolling" and don’t want to stop but you want to be able to manage it better or be more productive or even have people leave you alone about it but making these changes aren’t coming as easily as you hoped it would. This process can very shaming and cause feelings of inadequacy or weakness and you’ve been trying to control and manage this all by yourself. In addition, I also work with a variety of other mental or emotional issues and concerns.
Using a psychodynamic approach, together, we can take a closer look at your life and explore unhealthy patterns of behavior and underlying causes to help you find tools to make better choices. I also use a supportive, nonjudgemental harm reduction model to help reduce the negative consequences of substance use or video misuse.
My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can express yourself freely and we can work on your goals together. I believe the "fit" or connection is very important and I tailor my approach to your individual needs and preferences.

Cannabis & Alcohol Risk Reduction Program (CARRP)
The goal of this program is to educate and discuss in a non-judgmental and fun manner all aspects of alcohol and cannabis use to give you the tools to make responsible, informed decisions to lower your risk if you choose to use alcohol and/or cannabis. This is a one-time, 3 hour class with adolescent and adult classes offered separately.Adolescent and adult classes are offered separately. The location and time will vary based on need or demand.
