It has always been a passion of mine to work with underrepresented populations whose needs may often go unnoticed. Having experienced poverty early on in life, I saw how difficulty meeting the basic necessities in life can make it seem like tomorrow may not come. I felt how people will treat you differently because of who they perceive you as and not for who you actually are. These experiences pushed me to become a therapist who will work with all individuals in need of help, regardless of your problem or circumstance. I love to work with people from all walks of life; I am inspired by your stories. I will see you for who you are!
I help clients by aiding in expanding their insight, tracking patterns in thinking and providing an alternate perspective on their issues. Creating change is hard enough alone; I believe that through collaborative effort alongside a therapist, I can help support the conscious drive and determination to change you have shown by seeking out professional help.
Hope, understanding, and support are some of the most important factors in relationships. It is my goal to provide shelter to my clients when they need it most and stay beside them until they feel prepared to tackle life’s issues with a new perspective on themselves and the world around them.
