I work with adults and adolescents who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety and depression, or who are adapting to life challenges. You may feel that you're missing the immediacy and vitality of your life because your energy is sinking into habits of overthinking, arguing with yourself, and struggling with your emotions. You think there might be an easier way, but you're not sure how to begin un-learning years of self-blame and criticism. My focus is to provide quality, results oriented counseling services to individuals, families and couples.
I have a warm, relational approach that is grounded in mindfulness and acceptance. I see therapy as a place to explore the personal meanings of your experience, to broaden your perspective, to open up the heart, and to take steps for real change. My goal is to help you get to know yourself better from the inside-out and to build on your inner resources.
