I provide culturally sensitive therapy. I have experience treating a variety of issues, including mood disorders, relationship difficulties, grief, depression, anxiety, and life stressors. Anxiety, depression, marital problems, personal growth and self-esteem issues, adjustment issues, job-related stressors, grief and loss issues, and parenting. I utilize cognitive behavior therapy, supportive therapy, brief therapy, solution-focused, DBT, motivational therapy, acceptance therapy, and communication therapy.
I provide active listening through ventilation and validation. I believe that everyone is capable of changing, given the right tools. I motivate and encourage my clients to believe in themselves and provide a therapeutic environment where they feel safe and secure.
I feel this is my calling. People have come to me with their problems, and I want to make a difference in their lives. I do women empowerment groups and want to encourage and empower my clients to reach their potential and believe in themselves. I want my clients to tell me what they want to work on and address their issues accordingly.
