I aim to deeply and fundamentally understand the clients I work with, first and foremost. Although I identify as a OCD specialist, I acknowledge that every client is different and make no assumptions that an approach that benefited one person would necessarily benefit the next. My work is grounded in cognitive-behavioral theory and scientific evidence, and my approach is marked by flexibility, warmth, and connection.
I have specialized in treating OCD and related disorders for my entire career. I spent 12 years at the McLean Hospital OCD Institute, serving in the role of training director from 2014-2022. I am currently the training director at the New England Center for OCD and Anxiety. I am also a faculty member of the IOCDF Behavioral Therapy Training Institute.
There is hope for all individuals suffering with OCD and related disorders. I provide empirically-based treatment for OCD, including exposure and response prevention (ERP) through the lens of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also provide consultation and supervision for clinicians looking to build their skills in working with OCD.
