Having years of experience as both a client and a clinician, I am very familiar with the process of change and I am well equipped to make it happen. I've helped guide people through issues of simple depression all the way to complex PTSD. I have extensive experience dealing with criminality, all forms of abuse, addiction, and most mental disorders. My blend of psychodynamic education and life experience have suited me well in this field.
My approach is direct, yet caring. I believe in the power of support, yet I know that sugar coating reality is not the way to achieve these difficult goals. If you go to the gym and leave without breaking a sweat, then you will not have any gains. Therapy is just like that.
I've been in recovery since 2006, and began my journey into therapy shortly after. My experiences as a client have helped me as a clinician tremendously. Life is amazing if you're willing to work for it.
