About
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with Journeys Outpatient Services, LLC in Toms River, New Jersey as well as working as a therapist for Abby Road Psychiatric Services in Red Bank, New Jersey. I have clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, self-esteem, current life stressors and/or life changes. I'm also a Certified School Social Worker, working toward my LCADC and LCSW. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents to overcome their personal obstacles, and helping them learn healthy coping skills.
My approach to therapy is diverse, flexible, and modeled according to your goals. I use combinations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered Therapy, and Humanistic approaches that focus on your ability and desire to learn and grow.
I have been in the mental health and substance abuse field for over 15 years. My experience ranges from 1:1 therapy for the most at risk clientele to facilitating groups for people who feel that they are in a trusting enough environment to work together.
