I tend to work with those who are objectively quality, imperfect people but feel shame, abnormal guilt or other signals of denigrated self-worth, consciously or unconsciously. In addition to individual therapy and psychoanalysis, I offer therapy groups for anxiety, depression, isolation, and improving authentic, healthy communication.
The US Surgeon General declared that loneliness is a nationwide epidemic. The UK made a similar assessment a few months ago. Group Therapy can help one feel less lonely while also learning to have healthy, open type communicating over time. I have a therapy group Thursdays for anxiety, depression and isolation. People of diverse backgrounds welcome.

This is a long-running therapeutic process group (since 2018) which meets in person in Richardson for young to mid-life adults (approx ages 25-55) with anxiety, depression, isolation etc. This is a confidential place for experientially learning including how to be vulnerable, give/receive honest, emotional feedback become aware of your blind spots. Most people start nervously but come to see group as meaningful. In this group people of color/immigrants are welcome. Regularly in this group we discuss topics—sometimes hard ones—with genuineness and emotional honesty.

This is a process therapy group for any age adult who struggles with isolation, depression, difficult relationships, divorce, and other kinds of life burdens. This is a new group with some vibrant people and immigrants and other people of color are invited as well. I once lived overseas and so I have a heart to work with people from other countries and cultures to help their and anyone’s emotional maturity, relational / psychological functioning. Group is a wonderful place to help with past traumas if you have them and any kind of current barriers to freedom and goodness in life.
