About
My purpose is to help individuals and groups become empowered to emerge as better versions of themselves, who are better able to reach their own goals. Healing and growth takes place in a safe and secure environment where we can cooperatively seek to understand your challenges and who you are in relation to them. I work well with adolescents, emerging adults, and established yet struggling adults.
In addition to treating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, anger, workplace difficulties, and life stage complexities, I am skilled at working with people who are caught in that place between two cultures and often feel lost there.
I am a second generation Asian American, have lectured on diversity issues, and have helped people struggle through the immigrant experience. Marginalization, of course, is not exclusively the experience of people of different cultures, and I am comfortable working with anyone of any background.
