My approach benefits those who struggle with depressed moods, wish to confront fears that limit their ability to fully experience life, are burdened by the memories of violence and abuse, want to overcome their loss, have unresolved issues regarding spirituality, and wish to connect more meaningfully with others. My role as your counselor is to help you in navigating challenges and obstacles life has brought your way. I provide a safe and supportive environment where, using empirically supported techniques and our own creativity, we develop insights and solutions to personal difficulties.
I have worked in the mental health field since 1999 and have been a licensed counselor since 2002. I have received advanced training in Cognitive-Behavioral therapies as well as EMDR. My clients seek contentment and fulfillment. My specialty is helping others realize their innate potential.
I fully believe that we all have the ability to heal ourselves. This involves transforming the negativity that we have learned, enhancing our relationships with others, and learning to cultivate and use our own power in constructive and life-affirming ways.
