Jason Wootton, LCSW, is an owner and therapist at New Beginnings Counseling Group. I work well with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, discouraged, or weighed down by trauma, anxiety, depression, pornography concerns, or addictive patterns. Many clients come to therapy wanting relief, clarity, confidence, healthier relationships, and a better understanding of why they keep repeating the same patterns. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. I help clients feel understood while also challenging them to grow, build real coping tools, face hard things, and move toward healing, self-respect, and a more grounded life.

With nearly 20 years of experience, I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, pornography addiction, and men’s mental health. I am trained in EMDR, ART, and paternal mental health, and I use CBT and Solution-Focused strategies to fit each client’s needs. My goal is to help you build coping skills, gain insight, and create meaningful change.

Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. I enjoy walking with clients through that process and creating a space where they feel supported and understood.
