I have 17 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I also train master's and doctoral level student therapists at a local university to help clients confront their life challenges. Throughout my career, I have never met a truly "broken" person incapable of making positive changes, and I work collaboratively with my clients to resolve their unique issues. My focus is increasing personal empowerment and agency in one's life increasing their ability to navigate life's problems. I'm a very laid-back professional and I take pride in being flexible with my clients.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parenting, relationship issues, communication issues, and work-life balance issues for working professionals. I am also an EMDR certified therapist for working with trauma of all types. If I am unable to help my clients, I provide referrals to other professionals in the area.
I firmly believe that we are all doing the very best we can. As such, I consult with my clients to gain a deep understanding and appreciation of their issues and help them explore new strategies to live a fuller, more gratifying life. I am currently licensed in LA, NC, TX, FL, SC, and VA.
