Jason P. Austin
Marriage & Family Therapist, PhD, LMFT, LPC
I have ten years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I also train master's and doctoral level student therapists at a local university to help clients confront any life challenges. Throughout my career, I have never met a truly "broken" person incapable of making positive changes, and I work collaboratively with my clients to resolve their unique issues. I intentionally keep a small practice to provide clients with dedicated and individualized attention. I don't accept insurance but can provide documentation for reimbursement. I return phone calls within 24 hours.
I specialize in relationship issues, communication issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parenting, and adolescent behavior issues. I am also an EMDR trained therapist for working with trauma of all types. If I am unable to help my clients, I provide referrals to other professionals in the area.
I firmly believe that we are all doing the very best we can. As such, I consult with my clients to gain a deep understanding and appreciation of their issues and help them explore new strategies to live a fuller, more gratifying life.
