About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with my “R” Privilege. I graduated from Binghamton University’s Master of Social Work Program in 2006 and have been providing Clinical Social Work services to children, adolescents, and adults since 2007. I firmly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and feel that building a strong, trusting relationship is the foundation for successful treatment. I will provide a warm, genuine, and understanding environment with a focus on listening to your needs and to what you would like to gain from therapy.
I enjoy utilizing techniques based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and feel these therapies blend nicely together in helping individuals become more Mindful in their everyday lives while also becoming more Flexible in their thinking patterns. I utilize a strength-based, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
I enjoy weightlifting, sports, nature, music, and spending time with family and friends. I especially love all animals and every moment I get to spend with my Lhasa Apso. I look forward to the possibility of working with you, to sharing my knowledge and experience, and to exploring the opportunities you have for continued growth and enjoyment in your life.
